We’ve already shared some great scalp care recipes and now it’s time for some super simple DIY hair masks that anyone can make.

💦 Hair Mask for Oily Hair
Ingredients:
2 tbsp healing clay (bentonite or similar)
Lukewarm water
A splash of lemon juice
(Optional) a drop of lavender essential oil
Add the clay and lemon juice to a bowl.
Slowly stir in enough lukewarm water to form a smooth, spreadable paste.Add lavender oil if you like the scent (optional).
After shampooing your hair as usual, apply the paste generously and don't forget your ends!
Let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
✨ Hair Mask for Split Ends
Ingredients:
Almond oil (or coconut oil / olive oil as alternatives)
This one is super easy:
For long hair, use 2 tablespoons of oil; for short hair, 1 tablespoon is enough.
Warm the oil gently in a water bath. Don’t overheat it!
Apply the warm oil to clean, towel-dried hair, focusing on dry and split ends.
Wrap your hair in a cozy towel.
Now for the best part: kick back and watch your favorite show for 1 hour. 🛋️🎬
Rinse out with a mild shampoo. Done!
🌊 Clarifying Salt Mask for Very Oily Hair & Scalp
⚠️ Not suitable for dry or normal hair—this is intensely cleansing and can be drying.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp sea salt (regular salt works too, but is less mineral-rich)
400 ml water
Dissolve the salt completely in water.
Massage gently into your scalp and roots.
Wrap your hair in a towel for 15 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly.
⚠️ Important:
If your hair has been freshly bleached, avoid any ingredients that could stain, especially with blonde or pastel hair.
