Yippie Ya Yellow is a rich and vibrant shade of yellow. For best results your hair needs to be thoroughly bleached prior dyeing with no red or orange tint.

With 150 ml contents our Headshot bottles contain way more dye than the ones of other brands. Also our hair dye is vegan, not tested on animals and it is produced in Europe.

To get the perfect color result we recommend the following steps:

First you have to bleach the hair. There is no peroxide in these semi permanent colors and so they do not brighten your hair. Even on natural blond hair a bleaching is recommended, it will roughen the hair structure and the color will be absorbed better. The lighter the hair, the better and brighter the color. After bleaching wait a few days and hair washes so all the rest of the bleach has been washed out. Use disposable gloves and a brush, you can buy them in every drug store.

Do not use silicone-containing hair care products before and after dyeing.The hair takes on color less well or not at all, if the hair was washed with silicone-containing shampoos. Best practice is not to use hair care products at all before dyeing. Moisten your hair and dry with a towel for about 10 minutes. Now dye your hair strand for strand on every side with the color until your hair is thickly covered and let it process for at least 30 minutes. Using heat improves the result, for example use a red light lamp, blow-dry or put a plastic bag over your hair. You can mix the colors of one brand.You can protect your skin and ears from getting dyed by putting baby oil, Vaseline or cream on it.

After that rinse your hair for a few minutes with clear water. No semi permanent hair color is suitable for lashes or eyebrows! Make sure the dye has no eye contact! Take care of your clothes, dripping dye can color them permanently. This can also happen with your towel, so just use older stuff where you don't care. This also applies for your skin. If you get any dye in your face, remove it immediately to avoid stains.

Because the color is semi permanent it washes out after some time. So if you want to have permanently colorful dyed hair you have to repeat the procedure from time to time. Some colors may stain your pillowcase for example, but don't worry, this will in most cases wash out after the next wash.The same applies under the shower, some colors may stain your body but it is removable with soap.

I Love it!

Von daher, dass ich kein blond an mir mag, war die gelbe Farbe meine Rettung. Ich habe sie ausprobiert und mich sofort verknallt! Ich dachte, dass das Ergebnis sehr Gewöhnungsbedürfig ist. Immer wieder gerne, solange die Ausgangsfarbe stimmt :)

nie erwartet...

...das ein Gelbton auf sehr orangstichigem vorblondierten Haar so gut wirkt. Es wurde zu einem sehr stark strahlendem gelb und ich liebe es! Es ist mal etwas ganz anderes und würde diese Farbe sofort wieder bestellen.

Knalliges Sonnengelb

Cooler Gelbton. Auch, wenn ich mir wünschte, dass er sehr leicht nur rauchiger und minimal wärmer wäre. Ansonsten perfekt, auch von der Helligkeit her. Aber mein perfektes Gelb kann ich mir auch wunderbar mit dem Orange von Headshot mischen. Von daher, echt super!

Yippie Yay!!

Einfach nur begeistert! Von anderen Marken überlebt Gelb höchstens eine bis maximal zwei Wäschen.. Diese jedoch sitzt einfach tadellos, selbst nach 5 Wäschen! Hab es über ausgewaschenes captain carrot gegeben und selbst das hat es sehr gut überdeckt. Richtig geil!

Endlich eine Farbe, die hält!

Nachdem ich diverse bekannte Marken durchprobiert habe, bin ich bei Headshot gelandet und begeistert. Die Farbe ist kräftig und leuchtend, obwohl ich sie 1:1 mit Spülung gestreckt habe. Ich habe die Haare mit rot (Hellfire), orange (Captain carrot) und dem gelb auf blondiertes Haar gefärbt und das gelb setzt sich tatsächlich auch gegen die dunkleren Farben durch. Zudem färbt die Farbe nicht das Kopfkissen oder die Kleidung. Beim Haare waschen blutet sie leicht aus. Nach drei Haarwäschen ist sie jetzt ein bisschen verblasst, was aber wenig verwunderlich ist, da ich sehr pflegeintensives Haar habe, welches nach jeder Haarwäsche eine Kur bekommt. Ein kleinen Abzug bekommt die Farbe, da sie nicht so sehr pflegt, wie ich es von anderen Direktziehern gewohnt bin, das ist aber Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar.
